# Sovereign Connectivity Summary: TDM DaOS decouples execution from settlement. The Sovereign Gateway layer allows agents to interact with multiple financial rails, ensuring that no single gateway has a monopoly over agent transactions. Status: Architecture overview Topics: - Sovereign connectivity - Modular gateway design - Financial rail abstraction - Settlement flexibility Packages: - tdm-sdk Commands: - tdm connect - tdm where
In the DaOS ecosystem, Sovereignty means the user (or the agent owner) controls which settlement layer is used. TDM provides a native gateway, but the protocol is designed to be Gateway-Agnostic.
The tdm-sdk interacts with gateways through a standardized interface. When an agent needs to perform a paid intent, it sends a request to its active gateway, which then handles the specific settlement logic for the target rail.
TDM provides a high-performance, non-custodial gateway that supports Solana and Base out of the box. It handles session gas tanks, delegated spending, and automated payouts.
Enterprise or niche-specific agents can connect their own gateways. This allows for integration with legacy systems or specialized financial protocols while still benefiting from the DaOS security and execution model.
